How usage works

Two things are metered separately: the jobs Recuity keeps fresh in your index, and the requests you make to the Job Search API.

You pay for the jobs we keep fresh

Recuity checks your tracked companies at least every 24 hours and keeps their job index up to date. Each day, the jobs maintained in your tracked index are added to your billing-cycle usage.

250 jobs × 30 days = 7,500 indexed jobs

Your daily job count can go up or down. We add together the jobs indexed each day to calculate your total usage for the billing cycle.

Searching doesn’t use more indexed-job allowance

Searching or retrieving a job does not cause that job to be counted again towards your indexed-job allowance.

  • 01Your index contains 250 jobs today
  • 02Your application searches them many times
  • 03Your indexed-job usage that day is still 250 jobs

API requests are metered separately, against your plan’s Job Search API allowance.

Frequently asked questions

What is an indexed job?

An indexed job is a job Recuity has discovered from one of your tracked companies, structured and added to your searchable job index.

Recuity continues checking tracked companies and updates the index as jobs appear, change or close.

Is the approximate daily job number a hard limit?

No. The actual limit is the indexed-job allowance for the billing cycle. Starter, for example, includes 7,500 indexed jobs per billing cycle.

The ≈250 jobs/day figure is simply a convenient way of understanding that allowance over roughly 30 days. Your actual daily job count can vary.

What happens if I exceed my indexed-job allowance?

Your service continues normally. Only the additional indexed-job usage is charged.

  • Starter: £8 per additional 1,000 indexed jobs
  • Pro: £7 per additional 1,000 indexed jobs
  • Scale: £6 per additional 1,000 indexed jobs
How does the company tracking limit work?

You can change the companies you track. Add or remove them as your needs change. Your plan limit applies to the number of companies you can have tracked at one time, not a fixed company list for the lifetime of your subscription.

You are not charged per company. The limit simply helps manage how many company websites are continuously tracked under each plan.

Do API searches consume indexed-job usage?

No. Searching or retrieving indexed jobs does not count those jobs again toward your indexed-job allowance.

Job Search API requests have a separate allowance for each plan.
